High Hand Nursery was the setting for meeting our Teck Trek winners on September 19th..   Valeria Boda, Danie Whittington and Alex Lolland presented examples of their week-long adventure on the Stanford Campus for Teck Trek.  Two other recepients were unable to attend the breakfast that day - Kacie Egusa and Maddy Montgomery.	Auburn AAUW provides scholarships to local women students who expect to pursue college majors in mathematics, science, or business and who have demonstrated outstanding academic and community involvement. The scholarship program gives separate consideration to graduates from any of the 5 high schools in the Placer Union High School District and to women who have re-entered Sierra College and have demonstrated the desire and ability to complete their degrees.
